Dauphine

Appearance: The berries are large and have a long-oval shape. They are a beautiful honey-straw colour when ripe.

Harvested: It is a late white cultivar and is harvested from mid-March to early May.

Owner of variety: Dauphine originated in South Africa, where it was selected by Infruitec from open-pollinated Olivette blanche. It was released in 1983.

Taste and texture: The taste is sweet.
