Barlinka

Appearance: The berries are round to oval, purple-black in colour and dense in the bunch.

Harvested: It is a late black cultivar and is harvested from the beginning of March until mid-May.

Owner of variety: Barlinka originated in North Africa and was imported to South Africa from Algeria in 1910.

Taste and texture: Barlinka has a sweet, crisp taste
