Ryan

Appearance: It is oval to egg-shaped with a large pip. It is medium in size and weighs 300-400g (11-14oz). The skin is green and slightly rough and the flesh is creamy.

Owner of variety: Ryan is harvested from July to September in warmer areas and from September/October in cooler areas. On ripening the skin remains green and yields to gentle pressure.

Taste and texture: Eating is fair and flavour is average. The Ryan has a high oil content.
