Fuerte

Appearance: It is pear shaped with a medium pip. The skin is thin and dull green in colour. It is medium to large in size and the flesh is a creamy yellow colour.

Owner of variety: Fuerte is harvested from March to August in the warm areas and from May to August in the cooler areas. On ripening, the skin remains green and the fruit yields to gentle pressure.

Taste and texture: Eating qualities are excellent and flavour is rich and tasty.
